SAPIE is not registered for VAT. Compliance with Slovak Act No. 22/2004 on electronic commerce is supervised by the Slovak Trade Inspection, Central Inspectorate, Bajkalská 21/A, P. O. BOX 29, 827 99 Bratislava, Slovakia.

The website presents the Hackni STICS hackathon series, its locations, confirmed practical information and ways to get involved. Browsing is free, no user account is required, and no contract is currently concluded or payment made through the website itself.

SAPIE aims to keep the website current and available. Information still awaiting confirmation from organisers or partners is labelled as being prepared. Confirmed information in the registration form, the rules for a particular hackathon and practical instructions takes precedence over older general information on the website.

For Hackathon Tatry, the “I want to join” button links to an external Tally registration form. Registration forms for the other locations will be published with the confirmed practical information.

Submitting the registration form does not create a contractual relationship and does not by itself confirm admission. Capacity, selection and confirmation procedures, rules for minors and other binding conditions will be stated in the registration form, the rules for that hackathon or subsequent practical instructions.

Based on the information currently confirmed for the Tatry Hackathon, participation is free and meals during the event will be provided to confirmed participants to the extent stated in the practical instructions. Information about accommodation, transport and any reimbursement of other costs has not yet been confirmed. The registration conditions and practical instructions for each location will be decisive.

You may use the website for personal and informational purposes. You must not disrupt its security or availability, bypass safeguards, attempt unauthorised access, distribute malicious code, or collect content automatically in a way that unreasonably burdens the service or infringes the rights of others.

Text, graphics, photographs, logos and other content may be protected by copyright or trade mark rights. They may not be copied, altered or reused beyond statutory exceptions without the rights holder’s permission. Reasonable quotation is permitted where the legal conditions are met and the source is acknowledged.

Use of SAPIE, STICS or partner logos and mandatory visibility elements requires permission from the relevant rights holder unless the law provides otherwise. Rights to team ideas, code, data and other outputs will be governed by separate rules for the relevant hackathon; these website terms do not transfer them to SAPIE or anyone else.

The website may link to STICS, SAPIE, partner sites or a third-party registration form. Following an external link takes you away from the Hackni STICS website, and the destination operator’s terms and policies apply. SAPIE is not responsible for the availability or content of an external service it does not control.

SAPIE may reasonably update the content, programme or availability of the website and correct obvious errors. A change to a confirmed date, venue or other material condition of a hackathon will be communicated in a manner appropriate to the circumstances.

SAPIE is not responsible for outages or loss caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control or for the actions of an external service provider. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
